Sustainability

Looking after and giving back to the environment is an important part of the food supply chain. We've always recognised our responsibility to set a good example and give back where we can.

We have a robust waste management and sustainability process. We continually look for ways to improve and strengthen our methods to help others and minimise our impact on the environment.

Some of our sustainable and waste management initiatives include the below.

Charities

OzHarvest

Several times a week, Australia's leading food rescue charity, OzHarvest, picks up left-over produce from our factory. OzHarvest collects quality, left-over food and distributes it to people in need, diverting food waste from landfill.

Salvation Army

We deliver quality surplus product to the Salvation Army every Christmas to help feed people in need during what is a trying time for many.

Back to the Farms

We believe in saving and reusing as much edible produce as possible, including offcuts. Vegetable trimmings and offcuts are collected throughout the day and taken back to the farm at the end of the day as a tasty snack for cattle.
